Hello all, this is my new blog. It is called Serenades and Squalls for two reasons: firstly, all the ones with cool song names and lyrics and stuff are already taken. Secondly, it's a reasonably neat and catchy three-word summary of the sort of music I like - pretty stuff, noisy stuff, and all the groovy points in between. Posts will consist of comments about music I like, the odd link to stuff that everyone should hear, the occassional drunken aside and possibly even completely unrelated to anything else chatter about football.
